Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need crypto to join the whitelist? +
No. You can join the whitelist with just an email address. If you don't have a wallet yet, we'll walk you through creating one (it's free) before the mint opens. Privy makes it as simple as signing in with Google.
What blockchain is the Founder Pass on? +
Polygon PoS (chainId 137). Gas fees on Polygon are fractions of a cent. You'll need a small amount of MATIC (a few dollars worth) to cover the mint transaction gas — the program's Paymaster only sponsors Scout interactions, not the Founder Pass mint itself.
How many Founder Passes can I mint? +
Maximum 2 per wallet. This is enforced at the contract level and cannot be bypassed. The limit exists to ensure as many founding members as possible can participate.
Where do the mint proceeds go? +
Every MATIC paid forwards directly to the DAO treasury (Gnosis Safe multi-sig) in real time — there's no intermediate holding. The treasury is publicly visible on Polygonscan. Fund allocation is governed by DAO vote: roughly 35% program operations, 25% dApp development, 15% scholarships, 12% marketing, 8% security, 5% reserve.
Is the Founder Pass tradeable? +
Yes. Unlike Scout badges and passports (which are soulbound), Founder Passes are standard ERC-721 tokens and can be freely traded on OpenSea or any Polygon-compatible marketplace. Secondary sales generate a 5% royalty that flows back to the DAO treasury.
Do I need to be a scout parent to buy? +
No. The Founder Pass is for anyone who believes in the mission — community members, Web3 enthusiasts, heritage supporters, and allies. You don't need to have a scout in the program to own a Founder Pass and participate in governance.
When will contracts be audited? +
The audit is scheduled to complete before any mainnet deployment. The full audit report will be published publicly before the mint opens. We will not open the mint until the audit is complete and any critical findings are resolved.
