Ages 9–11. Learning to navigate nature, history, and themselves.
Pathfinders are ages 9 through 11 — old enough to ask hard questions and young enough to still be shaped by the answers. The Pathfinder years are about building a foundation: outdoor skills, heritage knowledge, and the first taste of mentorship. Pathfinders begin to understand that their journey is not just personal — it is communal.
Pathfinders learn to navigate — in nature, in history, and in themselves. Map reading, compass use, and the ability to find direction without technology.
Deeper exploration of Moorish American history. Research projects, family history work, and the first introduction to the concept of sovereignty and noble lineage.
Campfire safety, basic survival skills, plant identification, and the beginning of the Pathfinder's relationship with the southern landscape.
Pathfinders begin their leadership journey by mentoring Seedlings. The first experience of being responsible for the growth of another person.
